Airstream Jets, a Florida-based broker of on-demand charter and jet cards, has posted a one-week sale on its Distance Card. Buyers of the Gold Distance Card get a $500 discount off the Silver Distance Card, normally priced at $25,000, while Gold Distance Card buyers receive a $2,500 savings from the $100,000 price. Prices don’t include the 7.5% Federal Excise Tax.
The Distance Card uses a mileage-based formula to calculate how much you will pay versus the standard measure of actual or estimated flight time. The program also offers an early booking 5% discount for confirming trips two weeks or more in advance, 5% off for qualifying roundtrips, a 5% discount for trips that originate and terminate at designated hub airports, and a flex option, giving cardholders with flexible travel dates (+/- 1 day) a 5% discount on one-way trips. Seven-day lead time is required, and final travel date is determined no later than 48 hours prior to scheduled departure to get the savings.
