XO adds new fleet type, expands flight credit discounts

By Doug Gollan, September 21, 2021

XO Signature and Select members get future flight credits of 4% and 2% when they charter across the entire Vista Global fleet

The unit of Vista Global is adding 8 Citation Excels to its U.S. program fleet by year’s end

XO Signature and Select members now have four times as many aircraft to earn 4% and 2% future flight credits. They will also have a new midsize aircraft in the U.S. program fleet.

Customers of the dynamic pricing memberships, which entail refundable deposits of $100,000 and $50,000, now earn more robust flight credits on the entire Vista Global fleet, over 180 jets.

Previously, the flight credits were limited to the XOJET Aviation fleet of 48 super-midsize Citation X and Challenger 300 jets. Beyond that, they were offered a 1% credit.

Now, when members book flights on the VistaJet fleet, the move means they earn the larger credits on all types, except the Global 7500. That includes the ultra-long-range Global 5000 and 6000 fleets.

Also in the mix is the Talon Air fleet, which features large-cabin Gulfstreams and super-midsize Hawker 4000s.

XO adds Citation Excel U.S. fleet

In separate news, Red Wing Aviation, which operates Citation Ultra light jets for XO programs, adds eight midsize Citation Excels. All are expected to be flying by year’s end. The latest additions will get cabin refurbishments, including WiFi. They will also be eligible for the more significant flight credits.

Earlier this month, XO increased rates, call-out, and daily minimums on its Elite Access fixed-rate program.

Both Elite and Signature offer guaranteed availability on peak days and no-cost service recovery.

Across its operators, Vista Global ranks fourth on our list of top 30 providers in North America, ranked by fractional and charter flight hours through June.

As an added note, the XO Signature and Select programs have been added to the Private Jet Card Comparisons’ European membership and card programs database. Last month, Aviation International News reported XO would add an XLS fleet there.
