XO will have a dedicated fleet of Citation XLS midsize private jets by the end of August, according to a confirmed report

Vista Global’s XO will launch a Cessna Citation XLS fleet in Europe by the end of the month, according to a report in Aviation International News.

XOJET Aviation, a U.S.-based charter operator in which Dubai-based Vista Global holds a minority interest, operates wholly-owned VistaJet’s N-tail U.S private jet fleet. VistaJet will apparently operate the XO brand midsize private jets in Europe.

XO executives declined further comment but added, more details are coming soon.

Vista Global chairman Thomas Flohr said he planned to launch a dedicated XO fleet during NBAA in 2019. In the U.S., XO offers both dynamic and fixed-rate jet card membership programs and jet sharing and by-the-seat options.

In the U.S., Vista Global has minority interests in three operators. In addition to XOJET, it has stakes in Red Wing Aviation and Talon Air. It recently launched aircraft management under the XO brand.

In the U.S., Vista Global operators were fourth in our midyear rankings of largest charter and fractional operators.
