Wheels Up launches ski vertical featuring top U.S. and European destinations

Following the launch of its golf program earlier this month, Wheels Up has formalized a variety of ski relationships into a vertical focused on the winter sport.

Wheels Up is also partnering with ski specialist Alpine Adventures. It will arrange perk-laden trips to ski resorts from Aspen and Telluride to the Swiss alps.

The travel agency handles arrangements from one-day skiing to a flexible ski plan for as long as you wish.

Services include booking ski schools, ski equipment rentals, and delivery as well as accommodations and concierge services.

There are also opportunities to hit the slopes with top skiers.

Wheels Up Experiences

Last month Wheels Up added exclusive departures for luxury itineraries with Abercrombie & Kent.

Other new partnerships give VIP treatment at Landry’s fine dining restaurants and Porsche. The carmaker offers preferential monthly subscriptions and daily rentals.

Also, new, American Express Platinium and Centurion members get discounted membership and flight credits, as well as access to the experiences.

Membership changes

In terms of flying, Wheels Up announced terms for new members. Those who deposit less than $200,000 will be restricted from flying on full aircraft charters during their first 90 days.

They will, however, get 15 months’ membership. They also have access to all other program benefits right away. That includes joining posted shared flights and partner offers such as Golf Experiences with UP.
