Despite record demand and supply challenges, jet card companies are still offering incentives for customers who buy before the end of the year.
Boca Raton-based Airstream Jets is offering savings and upgrades for buyers of its Distance Card jet card. Unlike other cards, rates are based on mileage instead of flight minutes.
Through December 31, 2021, buyers get $500 off the Silver card, which is normally priced at $25,000. Gold Card buyers save $2,000 off the normal $100,000 deposit. They also get one free category upgrade.
Purchasing before the end of the year also locks in current rates, which go up on January 1.
The Distance Card has a non-peak call-out of 48 hours. Members can save up to 20% when flying same-day roundtrips, booking at least two weeks in advance, agreeing to flexible departure dates, and flying from or to designated ‘hub’ airports.
