HondaJet fractional operator Volato is launching Insider as an additional option to its Stretch jet card.
Volato is adding a second jet card option to its lineup.
The fast-growing 2021 startup reported $100 million in sales last year and is now launching Insider with zone-based capped hourly rates.
“We wanted to create a program that competes directly with jet cards by providing the best possible rates for our customers while maximizing operational efficiency for the fleet,” said Mike Prachar, Chief Operating Officer Volato.
He added, “Providing customers with highly competitive rates on our modern fleet of luxurious HondaJets within our busiest service areas is a win-win for everyone.”
Like its Stretch card, the program is as available. However, Insider doesn’t have repositioning fees.
The capped rates are valid for flights starting and ending within zones whose sizes are based on how much you deposit.
For example, the entry-level Base tier, which requires a $50,000 deposit, offers capped hourly rates within 125 miles of the base.
The $100,000 Plus tier has a 250-mile range, while the Max $200,000 level offers a 500-mile range.
Insider Tier | Deposit | Hourly Rate | Range from Base |
Base | $50,000 | $7,000 | 125 miles |
Plus | $100,000 | $6,800 | 250 miles |
Max | $200,000 | $6,700 | 500 miles |
Bases are Teterboro (KTEB), Miami Opa Locka (KOPF), Atlanta Peachtree DeKalb (KPDK), Dallas Love Field (KDAL), Houston Hobby (KHOU), Los Angeles Van Nuys (KVNY), Las Vegas Harry Reid (KLAS), and Oakland (KOAK).
Capped hourly rates are $6,700, $ 6,800, or $7,000, plus Federal Excise Tax.
There are no fuel surcharges, and rates are locked for 24 months.
The rates extend to Canada, Mexico, and the Bahamas with no surcharges, just international fees.
The program guarantees four seats. However, the company says it can generally accommodate requests for five passengers with advance notice.
Its HondaJet fleet has cabins with both the four-and-five seat options.
The daily minimum is one hour, including taxi time, if you make only one flight in a day.
If you make two or more flights within the duty day limit of the crew, the minimum is two hours.
For example, if you made three 40-minute flights, you would be charged 40 minutes, plus 12 minutes of taxi time, per segment so that the one-hour segment minimum would be waived.
Insider members also get additional discounts on empty-leg flights using existing deposit funds.
Through the end of April, you will get a tier upgrade when you join, so you can get Max-level benefits for $100,000.
“Our Insider deposit program provides easy draw down, great pricing, and access to the best customer experience team in the industry today. It gives customers a fantastic opportunity to experience Volato,” said Executive Vice President of Sales Norm Katz.
Paid subscribers can compare the Stretch and Insider jet cards with over 250 options.
