General Dynamics’ Jet Aviation is expanding its jet card program to Europe, Middle East, and Africa.
Jet Aviation has expanded its jet card program to customers in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
According to the announcement, the program enables customers to pre-purchase charter hours at a fixed price to use on future flights.
The U.S. fixed-rate program was put on hiatus after the surge in demand.
The U.S. program offered a fixed rate on pre-purchased flight hours.
Last year, Jet Aviation began offering customized versions on a one-on-one basis.
EMEA Vice President Niclas von Planta said, “The charter market is very dynamic based on availability, seasonality, and aircraft size. The jet card takes away these variables for frequent flyers, offering an effortless experience with fixed pricing and guaranteed availability of aircraft.”
The program provides guaranteed availability of aircraft.
Von Planta added, “Extending availability to EMEA allows even more of our customers to fly under this simple and transparent program and benefit from our global network of complementary business aviation services.”
Jet Aviation currently manages around 300 aircraft globally.
The private aviation services company is a wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics.
It has 4,000 employees and 50 locations worldwide.
During NBAA-BACE, Jet Aviation announced the addition of 16 charter aircraft to its U.S. fleet.
