A survey of Flexjet, Jet Linx Aviation, Magellan Jets, Sentient Jet, and VistaJet found private jets will be traversing the country from sea-to-shining sea this summer
Where is the private jet set headed for the summer? A survey by Business Insider of five leading jet card providers found a wide variety of domestic hot spots.
Flexjet, Jet Linx Aviation, Magellan Jets, Sentient Jet, and VistaJet each shared insights into where their members are flying.
Private jets are time machines and stress reducers, but make sure you know what you are buying
The siren’s song from private jet companies is easy access to the slopes, more time enjoying the powder and less stress, and they are right. Many mountain airports require connecting flights on commercial airlines, so having a jet card for your season’s ski trips can cut travel time from five or six hours by more than half.
Flying privately can add nearly two full days on the slopes to your ski vacation. If you are planning a long weekend, going up Thursday and coming back Sunday, having a jet card can mean double the snowy fun.– Private Jet Card Comparisons analysis
Think about leaving your house at 7:30 am, being wheels up from an airport near you a half-hour later, and on your favorite runs by 11 am. Fly commercially and you wouldn’t arrive until dinnertime.
After the June merger of JetSmarter and XOJET, the new FlyXO.com has been tweaking the jet sharing part of its offering
Vista Global is continuing to put its stamp on its XO brand since merging JetSmarter and XOJET at the beginning of the summer. First, it added JetSmarter’s jet sharing functionality to the former XOJET dynamic jet card pricing memberships.
The move meant that XO Select and Signature memberships could all of a sudden share seats on flights they had booked with their deposits. Elite members who get fixed rates can’t share seats on those flights, but otherwise, get all the perks a JetSmarter member received.
XO also tweaked Select Access and non-member options. In essence, there are two versions of Select Access. But the big news is non-members can now book seats on at least some empty legs.
