The world’s largest private jet operator is adding a new twist to its Marquis Jet Card lineup combining elements of its Classic and Elite jet card products
It looks like NetJets has made another change to its jet card line-up. The latest is a new 100-hour jet card. Previously, its offerings were based on buying units of 25 or 50 hours.
The 2-Year 100-Hour Card is a mix of pricing and policies from its Elite and Classic offerings. NetJets brands its card program under the Marquis Jet label.

Ad hoc charters can be a pain. Every trip calling a couple of brokers to get quotes, and then comparing the terms, including cancelation policies. And of course, it’s always, plus, plus, plus. And then what happens if there is the operator cancels because of a mechanical or sick pilot? Last-minute re-quotes can be expensive.

Private jet short-hops on select aircraft this summer just got cheaper. In an email to its fractional shareowners and jet cardholders, NetJets said it is eliminating the 60-minute minimums for flights. There is no daily minimum. The waiver is valid for the life of your jet card, and on peak days as well.
NetJets may be ubiquitous with the concept of fractional ownership, and by far the dominant player in the market, but the big question remains, is the unit of Berkshire Hathaway worth a premium?
