If jet card pricing is getting you down, Airstream Jets’ Distance Card is on sale through the end of June.
The Boca Raton, Florida-based charter broker, is offering a $1,000 discount on its $25,000 Silver card and $4,000 from its $100,000 Gold card.
Airstream is also waiving credit card fees through June and offering one free cabin category upgrade for purchasers of the Gold card.
If you have ever been frustrated by jet card pricing – either having the meter running with actual flight time pricing or estimated flight times that don’t seem to be based on reality, Airstream’s mileage-based pricing makes it easy.
Fixed rates are based on cabin category and mileage. You use a table with locked rates, figure out how many miles and what cabin category, multiply, and add the 7.5% Federal Excise Tax.
The Distance Card includes fixed one-way pricing to the Caribbean and Mexico as well as the 48 Continental states. It also offers discounts for qualifying roundtrips, departure flexibility, flying to or from hub airports, and booking in advance.
