Florida charter and fractional private jet flight activity surges 3% ahead of 2022 levels during July.
Global private jet flight activity increased 1% in Week 30 from the previous week with 72,870 segments, according to the latest WingX data.
That puts business jet flights just 2% below 2022 levels.
For the past four weeks ending on July 30, 2023, global private jet flights were just 3% under last year’s totals.
Looking toward the U.S., there were 48,811 segments, 1% up compared to Week 29 and 3% under last year for the week and over the past four weeks.
In fact, during the past month, Florida private jet activity was just a single point below 2022.
In Europe, 14,909 private jet segments represented a 1% week-to-week drop and a 7% decline against the same period last year.

Despite reports of dropping demand, global private jet fractional and charter activity was 1% up week-to-week with 38,738 segments.
That’s flat to last year.
Over the trailing four weeks, the 150,712 charter and fractional flights were just 1% below 2022.
The numbers were even better in the world’s biggest private aviation market.
Fractional and charter segments were 2% ahead of the prior week, and the 26,516 segments were flat to last year for the same week.
Moreover, the 95,281 segments in July were equal to last year.
With 9,376 flights over the trailing four weeks, Florida was actually 3% above 2022 levels.

Europe had 11,450 charter and fractional flights in the previous week.
That’s 2% down from Week 29 but just 1% under last year.
Over the trailing four weeks, European fractional and charter volumes were 5% below 2022 volume.
Italy showed the strongest numbers for July, where the 7,091 charter and fractional segments were equal to last year.
