Wheels Up is not selling its Atlanta headquarters

Wheels Up is a tenant in the building and will continue to stay in the lease when and if the facility in Chamblee, Georgia is sold.

A LoopNet real estate listing for Wheels Up’s corporate headquarters in suburban Atlanta accurately states that the building is for sale.

However, it is not Wheels Up that is selling the building.

What’s more, Wheels Up will remain the tenant when and if the building is sold, according to a spokesperson for the Delta Air Lines-backed private jet flight provider.

The 35,500-square-foot facility in suburban Chamblee can be had for $14 million.

It sits on 2.06 acres.

It is also just two miles from Peachtree DeKalb Airport.

PDK is the 12th-busiest airport for private jets in the U.S.

According to the listing, Wheels Up’s triple-net-lease for the property “commenced in 2023.”

There are still more than eight years of primary term.

Wheels Up will pay a 2.75% annual rent increase throughout the initial term.

The lease also includes two five-year renewal options.

A spokesperson for Wheels Up tells Private Jet Card Comparisons, “The listing in question is for the building, which is being marketed by the property owner, not Wheels Up.”

He adds, “The sale does not affect our current lease, which will continue to be honored by any new owner.”

Wheels Up moved its corporate headquarters from New York City in 2024.

The facility opened as its operations center in 2023.

Wheels Up said it plans to double its fleet of Phenom 300s and Challenger 300s this year.

It is part of a fleet renewal strategy designed to back a turnaround plan launched in 2023.
