A new Embraer Phenom 100 is listed at $5 million
Embraer began the development of the Phenom 100 in the mid-2000s with the goal of creating a private jet that could serve the air taxi market. The first flight of the prototype took place on July 26, 2007. It was certified by the Brazilian Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) in December 2008 and by the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in December 2009. Production of the Phenom 100 began in 2008. In 2017, Embraer introduced the Phenom 100EV.
The Phenom 100 has a cabin length of 11.0 feet, a height of 4.9 feet, and a width of 5.1 feet. It can seat four to five passengers with a fully enclosed lavatory in the rear.
The Phenom 100 is powered by two Pratt & Whitney Canada PW617F-E engines, which provide a maximum cruise speed of 390 knots (449 mph) and a range of up to 1,178 nautical miles (1,355 miles). It has a maximum takeoff weight of 10,582 pounds and a maximum altitude of 41,000 feet.
New Phenom 100EVs are priced at $5.3 million.
