North American private jet flights set a record for November with over 300,000 flights, and November 28th became the busiest day in the history of private jet flying with over 13,000 flights.
The Thanksgiving holiday in the U.S. revealed interesting twists on how private jet flying is evolving. While global private jet flights for Week 47 were 22% above 2019 levels, they were down 11% from Week 46, according to WingX data.
Global private jet activity posted a 5% week-over-week gain for the period ending Nov. 21, 2021, according to WingX. That’s 24% ahead of 2019’s pre-pandemic numbers for Week 46, and19% up on the trailing four weeks.
