Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport follows openings in Austin, Boston, Chicago, Minneapolis, and New York, and brings the 5th largest for-hire private jet provider to Florida

Jet Linx, ranked 5th on Private Jet Card Comparisons’ ranking of largest for-hire private jet providers in the U.S., has landed in Florida. Its first location in the Sunshine State at Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport will open in early Fall.

“Over the past 22 years, we have served numerous destinations across the state of Florida and are thrilled to introduce our first dedicated private terminal in Miami to support aircraft owners, jet cardmembers, and joint owners in South Florida,” said Jamie Walker, Jet Linx’s CEO.

Jet Linx Aviation is coming to Florida with a location at Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport debuting this Fall.

He added, “Jet Linx Miami will not only deliver our unique private jet service to the Miami area, but it will provide the Jet Linx exclusive Forbes Five-Star experience for our clients flying in from our 19 other locations across the United States. This is a significant milestone for the company as we continue to expand our network of private terminal locations to better serve our clients.”

Jet Linx offers one-way pricing and guaranteed availability for jet card customers within 175 miles of its terminals. That gives it a catchment area of potential customers to Naples west, Vero Beach north, and Key West south.

Its on-site concierges assist members in scheduling their flights, booking hotels, and ground transportation. They also are on-hand during departures and arrivals. In addition, Jet Linx offers valet parking and details customer vehicles while they are traveling.

The Opa Locka private terminal will have several seating areas, a conference room, an executive lounge. There will also be a fully stocked café and bar.

The terminal is located at Fontainebleau Aviation and is now under construction. It will feature a modern and minimalistic design, with sophisticated accents and locally inspired design elements throughout.

Jet Linx expansion

Jet Linx plans to open more locations, including the West Coast, by 2022. Scottsdale, Arizona, is currently its western-most location. In addition to jet cards and management, the Omaha-based provider recently launched a co-ownership scheme. It also offers jet sharing for owners and jet card members.

In two years, it has opened Austin, Boston, Chicago, Minneapolis, and New York at Teterboro Airport in New Jersey. The Miami location will give Jet Linx bases at 13 of the 25 busiest private jet airports in the U.S.
